Kalamunda  Public Art Awarded

The shire of Kalamunda has just awarded Malcolm Harris and Mathew Harding the contract to design and construct 3 public art works on the site of the new Community and Cultural Centre.  Located in the centre of Kalamunda the new Community and cultural Centre will act as a draw card for residence and visitors alike. The art works consists of two large timber screens at the entry and exit points to the site as well as a central steel and glass totem which will be lit from within. Placed around the totem will be a  series of granite natural boulders that will incorporate carved seating elements.
